I'm finally writing something here again! I should do it more (.__.)"
So much has been going on this year already and I'm working on different projects at once. So I decided to show some of my progress to you.
Guren Ichinose
He's so my type to cosplay XD that dark past of him...hohoho... XD
Since sewing is easy for me I decided to make the version with a cape (besides for photoshoots a cape is really awesome <3) The only annoyng thing was to add the bias tape around all those corners.
did you know? I have my own label for my cosplays, I always sew it in ^^ The jackets lining is red too <3
I made my first application and i was really easy, it looks nice so I should do it more often Since there was a white tag on the drawing I interpreted it as his name tag. I stiched this with my sewing machine, lucky that my machine can stich letters.
For his familiy crest I made first a claymodel and then casted it with resin. I'v goten into molding and casting recently and I really love it ^^
And that's how it looks with all the details (on the photos I wear it, the details aren't done yet)
For the wig I ventilated the whole front hairlinie by myself. I was unhappy with the bought wig, it kind of didn't fit me well enough so I deicided to do this crazy work. I needed around 9 hours to finish it. But now I can wear both of his hairstyles and it looks natural ^^
I just begun with his sword too. I want it to glow with LED stripes and pulsating too XD So fir of all I needed a master model to work with. I have a lot of katanas at home but not one of them was perfect. So I took this blade and imprinted it into clay. Then I took it out and imiprinted it again to make it longer. The clay is specifcally for making molds - without sulfur and it doesn't dry. I made one half of the sword, the other half I need to doo too. After that I'm going to cast it with a clear resin and put inside the LED. I hope everything will work, I'm still new to this
Frankenstein
I'm still working on his cosplay or rather on a new verison - the Dark Speer transformation
I've begun to make his arm with clay because I want to cast them in the end with silicone. My vision is to get like a glove out of silicone and embedded into the silicone I'll add el-wire to make the veins glow. This is just a little of my progress:
It won't be just the veins but I'll add more monster like traits, but I'm not sure what I can do right now It's also still very difficult to imagine how I'm going to cast all of it in the end. With adding the el-wire it really becomes hard to do o.O" And I'm not thining about his speer for now
I thought about featuring cosplayer I like and don't have a lot of attention here on DA.

If you have any other cosplayer you want to recommend, you're welcome to tell me. I'm going to do this feature form time to time again.
And by the way I'm doing a share for share on my Facebook page, if anyone wants to share his page, please write me on FB www.facebook.com/romaileecos?r…
The last months I worked hard to make this performance happen. I made all the costumes, the choreography and the music/video. The event we performed at was the biggest con in the german speaking part of Switzerland. My boyfriend made the stage props - two traditional japanese doors on weels.
We were super excited for the performance but in the middle of our performance the music and video stopped and we had to wait for far too long until someone told us that they're not able to restart the sound (>.<). So our performance was totally ruined because of thecnical problems (it occured not only once...). In the end we did the fighting part without music... But the worst thing is actually that the music stopped exactly at the point wehere I was changing my clothes behind the door and so most people thought that it was my fault for not being able to change fast (-.-"").
We won 3rd price for costumes but nothing for our performance even though we should have won something in comparison with others (-.-) well anyway I'm not satisfied at all with the whole thing but luckily it's possible to earase all those things in the video so just watch the video and enjoy that's how it should have been!
A lot has been going on lately and I made some new stuff. I want to share some of it here too.
Recently I bought the game "Hakuouki - Memories of the Shinsengumi" that's when I fell in love with Kazama. Before I didn't like him much but it the game everything turns out quite different than in the Anime and Kazama's so much more interesting. I wanted to take part in a contest with Hakuouki cosplays again - because it's the best thing to combine with a sword fight XD I love sowrdfights I'm practicing a korean swordart . I already made the Geisha Chizuru version but with this one it's impossible to fight so I decided to make the calendar artwork version of her.
I love all the details (^__^) The only thing I don't like is the gradient on the hakama... black is so hard to dye...
Of course I don't want to take part at the contest alone So I asked my boyfriend if he wants to join because he practices the swordart too. For him I made Kazamas calendar artwork version. Of course I'm going to wear this one too but right now it's too big for me. I have to make it smaller after the contest ^^""
Details ♥ We had to buy special sowrds for the performance since we cant ruin our real swords XD" That's why I had to add the ribbon on the scabbard, I did tie this for the first time, luckily I found a tutorial (^_^) The belt is not completly finished and I forgot to put on the purple belt (-.-")
With these two cosplays I made 13 Hakuouki cosplays!! I can't believe it, I'm too crazy XD If there would be a contest for making the most cosplays of one series, there might be a chance to win XDD
Soon the season for conventions will begin again ♥ (^__^) And with that also the cosplay stress
I made some progress with my cosplay works and also added some new ones to my list.
First I'll show you these pictures of Chizuru Yukimura's Oiran cosplay
These are only the finished fabrics, draped onto the mannequin.
Here are the first two Kimono layers, finished, including lining.
I tried to sew the whole thing according to a traditional kimono sewing tutorial. But in the end I did it my own way again because I didn't want to do it so complicated. But it still turned out much better than any kimonos I had sewn.
Battousai Himura
His cosplay is finished now. I actually did sew it already in the past but I decided to sew the kimono anew because it looked way too crappy and I wanted to add some very warm lining for the snow shooting with as Tomoe
I needed to make the Kimono look ragged and bloody. Otherwise it would not look real, wouldn't it?
Frankenstein (Dark Speer)
I've begun to work on the Dark Speer version of Frankenstein from Noblesse. I'm not sure yet if I'm satisfied how the first arm turned out but it's going into the right direction.
I will paint it later. It's made out of fabric as a base. I glued the Worbla parts on it and coated the whole thing with latex.
This week my boyfriend and I will do our Winry Rockebell/Edwar Elric shooting up in the mountains. (hopefully the weather will be good). I also worked a little bit on Edo's cosplay - the automail. I did the screws, finishing, painting and assemble. It's not the whole arm because we don't need it whole for this shooting.
And that's how far I've got with my cosplay procets. There's still a lot to do
