Cosplay + editing
Chizuru's Geisha version (I call it Geisha because they call it like this in the Anime! I know that some attributes are more like that of an Oiran!) was a lot of work. But it was not sewing the kimonos, it was rather making all the patterns for the Kimonos. I made them with Illustrator and let them be printed by a specialized company. I'm sure that this is one of my most expensive cosplays (.__."") But I really love it so it was worth it. The wig was a big challenge. I never did such a complicated wig before but with the help of some tutorials I manged it more or less. At least the front and the side parts. The back still looks very messy...
This is the second shooting wiht this cosplay. This time I got the right time for shooting with the cherry blossom (^__^). I decided to dress up as much as possible at home because it's easier to do with a large mirror and such.. but I had do drive to the location like that XD Now I'm really happy I did that because everything looks much better dressed now. Also I managed to knot the Obi bow almost perfectly ^^
I love the pictures and I really didn't know which one to upload first since all of them are so beautiful - thanks to AzurBlueDragon.
Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan - 薄桜鬼 〜新選組奇譚〜
The kimono is perfect, and the cherry blossom trees really make this photo that much more amazing.
It's obvious this cosplay took a lot of hard work and effort, but it obviously paid off!
Instant fave! (:
